Established in 1983 for the operation of fish processing and distribution, the company specialises in the provision of high quality seafood to the local and international markets. Within a short time frame of commencing operation, Tropic was linked with high quality seafood from Sri Lanka due to its consistent level of quality and supply.
Approved by the competent authority responsible for implementing EEC standards in Sri Lanka, this processing centre carries out microbiological, toxicological and heavy metal content testing on a regular basis. Furthermore it is also based on the HACCP quality plan and thereby ensures that all processing carried out, meets international standards of quality.
